Company information

The CEO has the floor

Small businesses are the heroes that make sure our society works. In addition, small businesses create the majority of all new jobs and account for a very large percentage of all taxes. Despite the fact that most companies are small, many find it difficult to get help from the big banks. In fact, only about 1% of total bank lending goes to small businesses. That is why we started Qred in 2015. In 2023, it received a license to conduct banking activities and became Qred Bank.

All companies may need extra help on the trot sometimes. This can be a loan for expansion, purchases or new hires, or a credit card to manage the day-to-day expenses of the company. We want it to be easy, quick and secure to access the right kind of finance for businesses. With Qred, small business owners have the opportunity to receive the same funding as larger companies.

As the only Swedish company, Qred has been named by the Financial Times as one of Europe's fastest growing companies for 5 years (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2025) and was the winner of the Nordic Scaleup Award 2024. To date, we have issued more than SEK 10 billion in loans to the smallest companies. It is money that comes in handy — many of our clients are usually without traditional bank financing, despite the fact that they are run by caring and talented entrepreneurs.

Qred offers business loans and business cards for small businesses in the Nordic countries, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Our business loans are aimed at small businesses where the funds are most needed and the amounts are relatively small (up to SEK 5 million), and the loans are normally repaid within 12-36 months. By limiting loan amounts and credit duration, we keep risk down, while helping even more small businesses.

Qred VISA, our own credit card for businesses, is the first of its kind to be developed specifically for small business owners. The Business Card is free of charge and the credit limit is set specifically for each applicant company.

Thanks to our access to data in combination with our unique scoring model, we are well placed to understand and manage credit risks in the business. Our large and diversified customer base reduces the risk of major business swings. Our fully digital systems are built to efficiently manage many customers, bringing great economies of scale. All this has led to very strong growth combined with good profitability. We look forward with confidence to be able to help even more small entrepreneurs both in Sweden and abroad for many years to come.

Welcome to Qred!
