Qred makes an overall assessment of the company. A payment note is, of course, negative.
A payment note means that the company has not paid its debts on time and that the debt has been sent to the Crown Prosecution Service. The credit reporting companies record it as a note. Most credit reporting companies retrieve data on newly accrued debt on a daily basis and record it in their records.
A full list of the credit reporting companies can be found at Website of the Danish Data Inspectorate, which also provides more information on how credit reporting and payment notes work. Read more about the difference between UC and credit reporting.
For example, a payment note may result in the company not being able to business loans from the bank, unable to subscribe for example telephone subscriptions or forced to make prepayments.
One can divide payment notes into two types:
That's what a credit reporting company can inform you about - because they're the ones who put payment notes. Credit reporting companies collect public data from various registers, including from the Swedish Kronofogden. This information is then submitted to various questioners, such as banks, landlords and credit companies. A full list of credit reporting companies is available on the Datainspektionen's website.
Do you want to know what payment notes Creditsafe has registered with your company? Fill out a registry extract and send it to support@creditsafe.se. It is also possible to send in the register extract by post, send it to Box 320, 401 25 Göteborg. Ordering registry extracts must be made in writing and signed.
Credit reporting companies typically retain data on companies for five years after the date the note was registered. When an application for an order for payment is registered against a company, that information remains for a maximum of two years after the end of the year in which the application was made.
The application for a payment order does not imply that you have received a payment notice. An order for payment will come if the application leads to a decision, that is, that the Swedish Enforcement Administration makes a decision that the application is correct. You can read more about the difference between application and ruling here. For companies, the payment note arises already at the time of application.
It's credit reporting companies that provide payment notes, not us. Credit reporting companies collect public data from various registers, including from the Swedish Kronofogden.
The debt will automatically be marked as confidential at Kronofogden if the following conditions are met. Please note that it is not possible to apply for confidentiality.
The payment note usually does not need to be left if you have ended up there by mistake. The mistake could be, for example, that you happened to pay incorrectly or that the person who sent in the debt should not have done so. It is a specific law that determines whether the data may be changed or perhaps deleted altogether. Normally, one cannot get rid of a payment note.
